Is this you?
Is this you?
- You’re a speaker or a thought leader who has a distinct set of IP and lived experience, but you know you’re not leveraging it as much as you could be.
- You’d like to move from the 1 to 1 model, to a one to many model of delivery.
- When you’re asked to deliver group training, you approach it the same way as you’d approach a speaking gig - you know you could be making more impact but you’re not sure how.
- You’ve got a wide and solid skillset, but you’ve never had training around how to educate people
Is this where you’d prefer to be?
Is this where you’d prefer to be?
- You know exactly what learning products are the right fit for your clients, (and for you, as the person who needs to design, develop and deliver them).
- You know exactly how to extract a variety of products from your IP - so you’ve got a full suite at your disposal if you need them - anything from diagnostic tools, to articles, presentations, or VIP workshops and mastermind products.
- You’re confident that you’re not just speaking AT people, but fully engaging them in a learning experience that will have them confident to take action when they leave the room.
Imagine what’s possible when you’ve built that skillset as an impactful educator, not just a speaker – learning products that don’t just WORK, they’re a living breathing testimonial for the work you’re putting out there in the world. Your clients, based on their results, become a walking, talking testimonial for your work.
Maria Doyle is one of those people I trust completely when it comes to helping experts turn what they know into something that actually works in the real world.
She’s smart, practical, and quietly brilliant at building learning experiences people genuinely engage with, not just another set of slides, not just another online course that gets abandoned after week one.
Maria has a rare gift for helping people package their knowledge properly, teach it well, and create something that delivers real value.
Check out Maria's events - I guarantee you will learn a great deal - and you'll experience a masterclass or two in delivery, from a master educator. And you'll also laugh a lot.
Ready to make that leap?
You’ll need to achieve these three outcomes:
- Decide which learning products are the best fit for you and your clients.
- Extract IP from a curriculum framework into multiple learning products.
- Upgrade your skillset from Speaker, to Impactful Adult Educator.
How? Well, I’ve prepared both video and written versions for the above three points – (because of course I have different learning products for different types of learners!)
So you can watch the full video (around 14 minutes, or even shorter if you change up the speed!) OR read the articles – all the links are below!

Turning Speakers into Impactful Adult Educators
If your sessions feel a little too lecture-heavy and learners aren’t fully engaged, a different approach may be needed. This workshop helps speakers, trainers and subject matter experts create more interactive and impactful learning experiences that participants remember and apply.
So in summary, there is a way to learn those skills, and BONUS! It’s not a lengthy Bachelor of Education or a painful Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. You’ve already got a solid foundation, as the skillsets of great speakers and great facilitators of learning do have a lot in common.
Here’s what I’d suggest:
If you do have areas to work on, take action!
- Book in for a complimentary half hour chat, or
- Read the book,
- Listen to the audio book on Amazon, Audible or Audiobooks,
- Book in for a workshop:
- Please note there is a bundle deal where you can actually attend both in person events.
Why learn from Maria?
Well, I’m not a tech-expert or HR person that fell into Learning and Development. I’ve been teaching, developing curriculum and training teachers internationally for more than 25 years. I’ve had 18 overseas postings and have worked (and been a learner) at all levels of education and training: primary, secondary, vocational, tertiary and post grad. I’ve worked with subject matter experts in fields as diverse as accounting to neuroscience and as a believer in life-long learning, I’m always enrolled in some kind of course be it more professional development, a women’s health course, cooking school or another language (I’m onto my 6th – Norwegian!).
It doesn’t matter what you’re learning, whether it’s formal or informal, corporate or social, face to face or online: I know what works and what doesn’t because I’m constantly looking for better ways to teach and learn. I’m a bonafide EdNerd, through and through.
Hallo! If you’re curious about the ideas explored in this article and how I might be able to help, please book in for a quick (complimentary) chat!
