As an already-flat-out-manager, I was a bit nervous that my workload was going to spiral to get our organisational inductions out of my brain into a stream lined process, but with Maria’s guidance and structure, this was such a simple, straight-forward process that was quick to set up!Before: 3-5 hours of me talking through everything in a verbal dump to the employee, a bit of confusion, and lots of following up and repeating information.
Now: 30 minutes of me talking and demonstrating basics, and the rest of it being employee-led at their own pace with true understanding, and minimal follow up from employee.

I have worked closely with Maria over the past 18 months in my role as Registered Training Organisation Manager. Maria has worked with the organisation over this time on various learning resource development projects, and specifically with our Learning & Organisational Development department over a 4 month period.During her time working with our department, Maria has created online professional development modules of self directed learning for our trainers, focusing on best practice teaching and feedback strategies. Over the last 2 ½ years Maria has been instrumental in redefining how the organisation approaches adult learning with particular reference to online content.Previously courses were created with a tick and flick approach. I went to Maria because I didn’t want to leave clients with the experiences I was having. Even if the content was great, if the delivery isn’t how I learn or if the content was just thrown out there without consideration for my time as a learner, I let it go and moved on to something else.
